It maintains the same 4.6K Super 35 sensor with 17 stops of dynamic range but introduces significant performance enhancements:
- High Frame Rates: It can capture up to 330 frames per second (fps) at full quality, with an “Overdrive” mode reaching 660 fps for extreme slow motion.
- Efficient Codec: It uses the new ARRICORE RGB codec, which reduces file sizes by approximately 50% compared to previous formats without losing image quality.
- Improved Workflow: Features a five-times larger pre-recording buffer and better power efficiency, making it a robust, versatile “A-camera” for a wide range of productions requiring standard frame rates and specialized high-speed action capture.
